Everyday, or scheduling times - the only way to learn and become better at playing an instrument is practice.
Don't want to get up and practice? Too Lazy? You sound terrible, and you are getting frustrated? Too busy? You need to understand the Importance Of Practice. It is hard to improve if you do not set time aside for practice. It is one major key to being a strong musician. Without it, you would not know how to play anything that sounds musical. Repetition, practice, is very important in learning a scale or song. You can't guarantee that 'practice makes perfect' but it can get you close. No matter how good you get at playing an instrument, there will be bad days, and days when you don't want to play at all. Those are the days you should still pick up your instrument, put in a good attempt, stay patient, or try again the next day. What you put into it - you will get back. So shouldn't you get practicing?
